six months ago, if someone had told me i’d be halfway through another pregnancy by summer, i would have laughed at them. it was all planned out. our firstborn was going to be potty trained, able to dress herself, and be willing to walk alongside mommy without being carried everywhere before we even considered bringing a second one into the family.
as i have yet to learn, every time i make perfectly good plans, God has a much better idea. so, here i am, halfway through term with baby girl #2 right in the middle of summer. i am super thankful to have passed the hurdle of “morning” sickness (why do they call it that when it should really be called “all day” sickness?), and to have not yet reached the intense incubation period when 60 degrees is suffocating – so i am actually enjoying summer very much.
reaghan is getting ready to be a big sister – she can’t wait to share her shiny shoes and pretty bows and dresses. and every morning she gets a little stretch mark cream on her belly just like mommy – she’s a tad confused about there being a baby in mommy’s tummy and not one in her’s or daddy’s. ;)
one of the fabulous things about my hubby being my second shooter is that he doesn’t mind (too much) when i beg him to take a few pictures for me. didn’t he do a fabulous job?!
