every year i make an attempt, and every year i am disappointed with the outcome. fireworks. they have been my nemesis of sorts when it comes to photography. fortunately, as a pyro technician’s wife i get many opportunities to practice. unfortunately, that usually means i’m practically sitting right under the blasts – or close to it. which, don’t get me wrong, it’s a killer view! just not so awesome when it comes to trying to get the perfect firework photo. it’s always a challenge that the “booms” are so close that even with a tripod there’s always some blur.
this year i am quite pleased with the outcome, although i still have a lot to learn! i hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!

jackie angelo - Hi Katrina, I pray you are feeling wonderful. I loved your comment about waking up to soft fluttering kicks….it brought me back to remembering my pregnancies with my babies. :~) Thanks for posting the fireworks pictures, please tell Reece that they were beautiful & I loved them! I also love all the pictures of Rheagan, you’re a very gifted photographer & I pray you have
much continued success. Love you all~ Jackie XO
